Our last days in Jersey

As everyone knows, we somehow stumbled upon a great community in New Jersey. It was because of the people in this town that we fell in love with the area. The best group was AH playgroup. I had the privilage of scheduling our playdates every Friday, and they had a going away playdate for us.

We spent a final weekend in Hoboken with Uncle Dan and Uncle Richie

On our way home, we went in search of a monument my dad had wanted to see when he came to visit. (But we're moving, so he won't be going anytime soon). The search started at Liberty State Park.

After an hour of searching and within minutes of the gates closing, we found the Teardrop Memorial at the end of a road behind a few warehouses. It was a gift from Russia after 9/11 and the teardrop lines up with Lady Liberty and Ground Zero.

We attended the Easter Egg hunt in Atlantic Highlands. Although, it should have been called "Run for Eggs" because they weren't exactly hidden. Yes, the girls were using their Halloween buckets for the egg hunt. It was the day before the movers were coming, and I wasn't going to pull out the Easter box.

And, of course, we dyed eggs at home

And, of course just before we left, we found a fantastic new park at the Jersey Shore.

Abri trying to sweet talk B into letting her play in the sand.

She won

And this is Abri. Always with her head on the ground and feet in the air.

The end of a great day.

One last trip to Longstreet Farms. NJ has the greatest parks.

Abri looking at the peacock in the top of the barn.

That's one huge hog.

A crowd favorite-the 3-holer outhouse

And,of course, the move.
