With only a handful of days left until we are actually in spring, Old Man Winter had to get in one last laugh in the form of a winter storm. The snow started last night and hasn't ended. I really don't know how many inches we've gotten so far, but I do know it was enough for the Weather Channel to mention Monmouth County on air. Apparently, we were under the "blue cloud" on the radar screen. For the day, the girls and I are just going to lay low and hope that B can make it home in time to enjoy some wintertime fun.
Here's my attempt at pictures. Later on, I promise I'll get out with the camera, but for now, you'll have to settle with what I can take from the door.
Here's the back porch. Notice the height of the snow on the chairs. Right in front of them is a child's picnic table.
This is the side of the house leading to the backyard. Click to enlarge & you'll see the depth of the snow. Also, look on the right. There's a table covered that should give you some idea of how deep it is.
Snowing hard
B was kind enough to scrape my car off before he left this morning. If you enlarge the picture, you can see the height of the snow in the grass.
